  • Damnnnn, this one is long over due. Been on the road for a minute, but finally got back around to filming another DLWYB. “What Is It About Today.” What is going on in our lives right now that we are going to look back on fondly? And why do we always look back and only see the good? That’s what I’m exploring on this bad boy right hurrrrrrrr. Link in bio! (at Chicago, Illinois)

  • It feels like death is something we all experience but rarely talk about. Not to mention, when we do talk about it, it feels like it’s too late and always negative. “Life Beyond Death” out now. Subscribe if you want to stay in tune with future videos! Love

It is past time for an end to state-sanctioned violence and murder.

It is! And I got a boatload of neo-Nazis commenting on this. I’ve had to block over 50 accounts because of this post. Here are some highlights and my responses (major CW for racism):

    image

Here’s my response in the form of another headline:

    image

They do kill because they want to. Cops are what happens when your high school bully grows up and is given a gun and license to kill. These statistics only show the tip of the iceberg.

    image

What other data do you want? That 40% of cops are domestic abusers? That only one officer is convicted of a crime for every 1,000 people that are killed by cops despite the evidence?

Also I’m laughing that you think I’m a liberal. Liberals fund and support police almost as much as conservatives do. They’re part of the problem too. Sometimes I swear that fascism is what happens when you think liberalism is the left end of the political spectrum and not simply the left end of the far-right.

    image

Ok, let’s talk about manipulating statistics. Contrary to how media presents it, being in the military is actually an incredibly safe job. Out of 1.2 million people active in the U.S. military, only 31 died in action. 128 cops, on the other hand, died on the job. This is out of 1.1 million people.

Neither of these jobs are dangerous and even if they were, that doesn’t justify literally choking people until they die because they’re selling cigarellos. It doesn’t justify shooting Black boys with toy guns. You know what’s a more dangerous job? Ground maintenance. 217 fatalities. 1.2 million individuals total. Also there isn’t anything noble about dangerous jobs anyway.

I wish Democrats wanted open borders! Even capitalists now realize open borders are the only humane way to work with immigration.

Tamir Rice. Daniel Shaver. Jordan Edwards.

Even if they’re doing something illegal (which often means speeding or driving through a red light), they don’t deserve to be killed. This is should be ethics 101 stuff.

    Racist scum.

    *deflect
*serve the white supremacist state only.
    *murder

It’s funny how hard this country markets how good and necessary the police are. Actually good things tend to promote themselves…

if you don’t think this carries an important message about our society then you are what is wrong with human society today

And this is why when you see a post empowering and uplifting black women, do not invade it with “don’t you mean all women.” No, because this is not the reality of “all women.”

    ^ exactly.

    Preach, Denise!!
